The holder of a valid ticket is admitted to the theatre on the condition that the holder agrees to the terms and conditions. Any violation of these terms entitles the Town of Ajax to, as applicable, seize or cancel the ticket, refuse admission and/or expel a ticket holder, in each case without payment of any refund or other compensation.
Due to Fire Code Regulations, every patron and accompanying support person attending a performance or event, regardless of age, must hold a valid ticket in order to gain admission to a performance. Admission prices will be charged for both attendees based on regular ticket prices. For some shows, children and infants may not be permitted in the theatre. Call the Box Office for information about specific shows.
Patrons must occupy their assigned seats and may not move to other locations in the theatre without permission. Young children may be seated on a parents’ lap only if they have a ticket and an assigned seat beside them occupied by the parent.
A ticket is a personal revocable license. A ticket is not redeemable for cash. Lost, stolen or destroyed tickets will not be honoured. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale by anyone without the permission of the Town of Ajax, and may not be resold at a price exceeding their face value at any time. Tickets may not be resold or used for advertising, trade or promotional purposes without the written permission of the Town of Ajax.
Tickets obtained from any source other than Town of Ajax ticket outlets, or any authorized agents, may be lost, stolen or counterfeit tickets and may not be honoured.
Exchanges & Refunds
Refunds on general ticket sales will not be granted. If applicable, patrons may exchange their tickets for another performance of the same production – subject to availability.
Due to the nature of live performance, all artists and programs are subject to change. Please understand that we cannot guarantee that you will be satisfied with a performance or that it will be free of technical difficulties. Refunds will not be granted for alternate cast members or any technical malfunctions in a physical production.
The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger of personal injury and hazards arising from or related in any way to the performance, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event and releases the Town of Ajax from all liability.
Ticket holders are responsible for their transportation to and from the theatre. The Town of Ajax will not reimburse ticket holders for parking tickets, or traffic violations to, from or while at the theatre.
At The Theatre
The St. Francis Centre is a smoke free facility.
Ticket holders must ensure that the holder, and any minors or others for whom the holder is responsible, conduct themselves appropriately and in a manner which is not determined by the Town of Ajax to be objectionable or disturbing to other patrons.
Admission to the St. Francis Centre is subject to compliance with applicable laws, by-laws, regulations and facility or theatre rules. We reserve the right to refuse admission or request the departure of those who fail to comply with these rules.
The following items are restricted, may not be brought into the theatre and may be confiscated by staff: alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, weapons of any kind, bottles, cans, food products purchased outside the Centre, and all forms of audio/video/image recording or transmitting devices. Photography, videography, recording of any kind, or aiding in these actions, is strictly prohibited. Food and/or beverages purchased at the St. Francis Centre are prohibited in the Main Hall during a performance unless otherwise stated.
The St. Francis Centre Main Hall and Ontario Power Generation Atrium are fully accessible for patrons and performers with special needs. Wheelchair accessible seating is available in the Main Hall. Please call the Box Office for all special or accessible seating requests. Infrared headsets for persons who are hard of hearing are available to be signed out, free of charge, with a Driver’s License or other piece of Photo ID, at the Box Office prior to the performance.
All performances begin promptly as scheduled, and there are no refunds or discounts for late comers. In order to ensure enjoyment of the performance by all patrons, and in consideration of the performers, latecomers will be seated at a suitable break in the performance, and seating location will be at the discretion of the management.
Please turn off or silence all cell phones and electronic devices while in the theatre, and please refrain from texting during a performance.
In consideration of those who have allergies and chemical sensitivities, please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne or other scented products.
The ticket holder grants to the Town of Ajax a fully paid, perpetual right to all photographs, videos or audio recordings of the holder taken or made at the performance and the right to record, use, reproduce, broadcast, sell and distribute any photographs, video or audio recordings for any purpose.
